Construction Surveillance Technician
Manhattan NY

Requirements:
•  3-5 years experience in at least one of the following: construction security surveillance, technician surveillance countermeasures, industrial or government security involving counterintelligence, construction quality assurance, or hands-on supervisory construction experience.
•  Independent decision-maker with a high degree of initiative and requiring minimal supervision.
•  Knowledge of all construction disciplines, including: Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic Engineering principles
•  Must attend a two-week Security Management course.
•  Must be able to work established shift, weekends and overtime if and when required.
•  U.S. Citizenship

Duties:
•  Responsible for the escort and surveillance of un-cleared workers during designated phases of construction.
•  Analyze designs and blueprints and recognize intended use.
•  X-ray and inspect material, equipment and furnishings designated for use within controlled areas.
•  Maintain daily logs.
•  Produce detailed written reports, analyses of problems, findings and security situations that require staff actions.
