Systems/Management Analyst (Sr)
Reports to : Program/Project Manager
Supervises: NA
Location: Arlington, VA
Education required :
- Analyst shall possess at a minimum a Bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited 4 year institution.
- Candidates possessing Bachelors degrees conferred from overseas colleges and universities will be eligible for consideration on this task.
- Candidates who do not meet this minimum educational requirement may be eligible for consideration based upon extensive intelligence experience and training.
Responsibilities:
- Analyst shall possess a solid foundation of intelligence experience, possess the ability to work independently on CI analytic project, and present the subject matter in DoD and outside working groups/meetings.
- Senior level analysts shall possess the capability to create comprehensive project plans, produce, edit, and QA project/team’s CI analytic products, to include but not limited to presentations/briefings to high-level officials.
- Must have the ability to conduct critical analytical thinking, possess the technical skills required for in-depth analysis, and be skilled in the production and presentation of quality, timely products.
- Analysts must be an effective communicator, both orally and in writing.
- Analysts must work well independently and be able to organize time and work efficiently and have the ability to respond to multiple urgent tasks.
- They must be knowledgeable of National Disclosure policies, Intelligence Oversight and classified information security policies and procedures.
Experience, Skills and Background required:
- Analyst shall have at a minimum 11 years of CI/Intelligence experience with a strong emphasis in analysis; preference is for CI, CE investigations, and CT experience.
- Preference is for candidates who currently hold advanced degrees, and have extensive CI analytic or other related intelligence analytic training.
- Familiarity and previous use of analytic tools and exposure to new analytic methodologies is required.
- Preferred candidates will have analyst training and experience to include, but not limited to, tactical, Foreign Intelligence Security service (FISS), counterterrorism, HUMINT and experience related to the country or Area of Operation (AOR) involved.
- Shall possess experience in a wide variety of intelligence systems and tools, which may include, but are not limited to:
- WebSafe,
- M-3,
- Anchory,
- LexisNexis,
- Cornerstone,
- Choicepoint,
- Intelink,
- JRIES,
- Analyst Notebook,
- Microsoft Office systems including MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
